ROPA self-propelled cleaner loader
The latest ROPA Euro Maus M3 has benefited from ten prototypes which have been extensively tested in Germany over the recent campaign. Its 8.70 m wide pick-up system is fitted with a combination of finger, comb and reversible spiral rollers to gently collect and clean the beet of dirt and trash. As a result the Euro Maus can load up to an impressive 435 tonnes per hour (7.25 tonnes/minute) subject to beet condition.
The 2007 Euro Maus has a new chassis design and larger wheels for increased ground clearance and traction. Its new Mercedes 299hp (220 kw) engine returns increased power with improved fuel efficiency. The new Euro Maus also features ROPA’s Automotive Drive System.
The cab has been fitted with a coloured monitor and controls from the Euro Tiger, the former giving excellent graphical display of the working elements. All controls are in front of the operator from shoulder level down so he does not need to take his eyes off the job in hand.
Starting from cold, the engine blasts air through the radiator to speed warming and remove any dust or debris that might have accumulated during transit. The spray water tank has been lowered for ease of filling and to give a lower centre of gravity.
