ROPA Open day 2010

Over 5,000 farmers and contractors attended ROPA biennial Open Day at the Sitteldorf factory, Bavaria.

The main attraction was the new euro Maus 4 with 10.2m wide collecting unit and elevating cab working with the latest euro Tiger beet harvester fitted with their exclusive micro topping system. This has been tested on 12 machines in Germany with impressive results: minimum head tare and maximum yields.

Demo 1

ROPA have enjoyed a reputation for enviro-friendly activity. Their newly constructed factory is heated by a biomass system. Visitors to the Open Day also had the opportunity to see a newly commissioned ROPA designed scheme to produce energy from sugar beet, the ultimate success of which could be of considerable importance to the beet industry.
