ROPA euro Tiger: (R)evolution in the beet field
200 years ago Charles Darwin changed the way we think about natural selection, evolution and the survival of the fittest. Much of what he revealed could be applied to the ROPA euro Tiger, especially in the ways it has evolved the principles of fuel efficiency, accurate lifting and minimum soil compaction relative to its 27-29 tonne holding capacity.
Euro Tiger is built to withstand the harshest conditions. Designed and engineered in Bavaria, ROPA are the number 1 beet harvester in Russia. “The Russians expect to drive their machines flat out, 24 hours a day and all ROPA harvesters are built to meet these demands whether they are going to Russia or Lincolnshire!” says UK importer Nigel Mountain of CTM Harpley Engineering.
Premier takes control
In fact the euro Tiger’s reputation has gone to the very top in Russia when President Dmitry Medvedev took the wheel of a ROPA euro Tiger and harvested sugar beet during a visit in the Russian territory of Orlov. He was suitably impressed with the ease of handling and reported his findings back to the Russian parliament!
